Fifty odd years ago a great man made this comment;

Today we are engaged in a literal battle for survival against perhaps the greatest foe of civilization that has ever existed. Radical Islam seeks to draw the world back into a seventh century Caliphate under Sharia Law where barbarism and sheer animal savagery is the dominant cultural norm and women and children become sexual playthings to be used and abused as it suits their appetites.

The world sees the US not only retreating from the region but also changing sides in the region. Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt against Mubarak. He later stopped arms supply to a newly elected President El-Sisi determined to confront the war on terror in the region. Egypt faces threats from Al-Qaida in the Sinai, Palestinian Hamas in Gaza, and the Muslim Brotherhood at home. Yet Obama turned his back on him and hosts the American Muslim Brotherhood in the White House.

During the Gaza conflict, his Administration sided with Qatar and Turkey against the wishes of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Because of regional problems including an invasive Iran, the Syrian civil war, and the horrors of Islamic State and the foreign policy failures of the Obama’s Administration, we have seen an alliance of common strategic interests in the Middle East, which is a fascinating new opportunity for Israel and its Arab neighbors. Yet Obama has done little to help nurture and develop this development.

Instead, Israel and its neighbors are pondering on how to get through an Obama presidency. This particularly applies to an Israel suffering from a presidential animus, which is an integral part of Obama’s personal and political DNA.

Our current President, Barack Hussein Obama, is at once sympathetic to the Islamist cause and a coward to his cause. He is delusional in his approach to dealing with the atrocities they are visiting to the countries and people of the world, and he is going out of his way to act as if ignoring them will somehow make the stain of their actions go away.

He has thus far weakened the capacity of the United States to defend itself from these emerging threats while at the same time making the rules of engagement favor them in the fight against American forces tilting the advantage in their favor in any confrontation. He has crippled the ability of any domestic unit of policing to investigate or inhibit their actions by forbidding any reference to their religious or ethnic identity from being used as a part of their investigative or training methodology. Casualties among the Marine Corps. after his takeover as Commander in Chief in Afghanistan reached 92% for the entirety of the whole of those suffered in combat.

He has inculcated operatives from organizations that are known subversives and associated with militant Islamic entities and organizations into all levels of our own government agencies so that policy and procedures have been influenced by them and therefore to an extent sabotaged any efforts to stop their efforts on the domestic front. This has allowed an intimate knowledge of intelligence, policy, and procedures which has the consequence of compromising our operations at every level of planning and execution.

Mr. Obama has been appeasing our enemies and alienating our friends to such an extent as to make the country weak as an international body for world order and done damage that may take literally generations to undo. Our strongest Allie in the Middle East is Israel and they are looking at an existential threat from Iran achieving a nuclear weapon, and yet Mr. Obama is doing more to help them achieve that goal than to stop them. In fact his efforts are more focused on Israeli elections and defeating the current Prime Minister who is a very good friend of the US and has been for the last 20 years.

In the end this speech could have been written about Barack Obama because he surely lives in a fantasy world in which he doesn’t dream of castles in the sky, but is packing his bags to move into one. As he considers his legacy he must look back on all his actions and as a whole realize that history will understand that he never learned from history, because he never even cracked the book. His hatred of America drove him to be the worst President America ever had, and in the pantheon of who’s who’s in America history he will rank closer to the likes of Benedict Arnold than he will to any President that served before him. This is only one aspect of his failures, but it is but a single chapter in a very thick volume of failures that this man has written for himself.

How to Lose Friends and Empower Radicals: The Peace Prize President’s More Dangerous World http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/2015/01/30/lose-friends-empower-radicals-peace-prize-presidents-dangerous-world/ Fri, 30 Jan 2015 12:40:01 +0000 http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/?p=956 Continue reading ]]> Since 2008, the world has become a significantly more dangerous place. In every region, new threats have emerged or old ones have reasserted them. The scorecard is clear: the bad guys are winning and America’s interests are being undermined daily.

As a nation, America has yet to recover from the experience of September 11th, 2001. Public opinion on our national response to the attacks against the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 is today divided. On one side we have the “Bush lied, People Died!” crowd who portray President George W. Bush’s response in terms of a conspiracy, despite the fact that we now know Saddam Hussein indeed possessed thousands of WMD warheads (and had used them in the past).

On the other, we have conservatives who are themselves split between the unsophisticated isolationists/non-interventionists who believe that an American withdrawal from the world will make us safe, and the quietly resurgent neoconservatives who see in the rise of ISIS/The Islamic State a justification for more foreign engagements.

For a moment, let us put Operations Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Operations Iraqi Freedom (OIF), to one side. Instead, let us take an unemotional snap-shot of the global geostrategic situation to see whether the administration whose head was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize during his first year in office has indeed make the world a safer and more peaceful place.

Europe: During most of the last century, American security was tied directly to the continent of Europe. Whether is was the generational genocide of World War One, the racial genocide of WWII, or the class-based totalitarianism of the Cold War, Europe was the source of strategic, and at times existential, threats to America.

During the first Obama Administration, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton declared a “Pivot to Asia” which would deemphasize Europe’s importance and see Washington focus more on our Pacific partners than on old Atlantic Allies.

Since that announcement, an emboldened Vladimir Putin has seen fit to break an almost 70-year-old international taboo by using force to redraw national borders with his annexation of Crimea. This includes, incredibly, the shooting down of a civilian jet-liner by forces armed by Moscow.

At the same time, we have seen the European Union become evermore centralizing and undemocratic as untenable economic and fiscal policies are propped up by a Brussels bureaucracy in the name of “broader and deeper union.” This has naturally led to two types of responses: the unprecedented success of a paleo-conservative backlash,f best typified by the insurgent victories of UKIP in Great Britain, as well the reverse: Utopian socialist populists such as the victorious Syriza party of Greece.

Then there are Europe’s ties to the Global Jihadist Movement. The recent slaughter in Paris, the beheading of a British serviceman on the streets of the UK, and Spanish and Belgian terror-related arrests all attest to the failure of the current international campaign against Islamist terrorism.

The flawed immigration policies of many EU nations have also facilitated the establishment of literally hundreds of ethnic and religious enclaves across the continent where integration is seen as a bad thing and where radical talentspotters for groups such as Al Qaeda and ISIS/IS identify, indoctrinate and recruit murderers such as the Charlie Hebdo killers, as well as thousands of fighters for The Islamic State.

This has led to a grass-roots response from Europeans afraid of the future survival of their countries embodied in the ever-broadening PEGIDA movement that Breitbart London has covered in great detail. The failure of multiculturalist immigration policies has not only encouraged the enclave phenomenon, but is also clearly linked to the disturbing rise of anti-Semitism on the continent which has led to unprecedented numbers of European jews deciding to leave the nations of their birth for good.

If we include Turkey in our European snapshot, the situation is even worse, as we have seen the one viable example of a secular Muslim state slip even deeper into the corruption-ridden maelstrom of Islamic fundamentalism under the Erdogan government which is either incapable or unwilling to prevent Turkey becoming a pre-deployment site for jihadist fighters traveling into Syria and Iraq. All this from a formal NATO ally of the US.

Asia: The much-vaunted Pivot to Asia has clearly not worked. China has, over the last several years, openly challenged the post-Cold War peace in the region with a commitment to its own military build-up coupled with a concerted campaign of intimidation against its smaller and weaker neighbors.

While challenging and intimidating our regional partners, China has continued to grow economically at such a rate that the nation which was once universally ridiculed as the maker of plastic toys for McDonalds Happy Meals has now surpassed the US economy in terms of gross output.  At the same time, China is waging a covert war against America in the cyber domain, stealing not only state secrets for use in developing its new weapons systems, but also billions of dollars worth of intellectual property and commercial secrets from American businesses. See the remarkable report from Mandiant on scale of the threat.

North Korea has also used the internet to assault American interests as the Sony hacking attack attests, while Washington has proven totally ineffective in undermining the world’s last truly fully-fledged Stalinist regime, or its regionally destabilizing nuclear weapons capabilities.

Africa: A giant continent, with threats as bad as they were in 2008, or in several cases much worse. The Global Jihadist Movement continues to consolidate its control in Nigeria through the horrific attacks of Boko Haram, the group made famous for the kidnapping of the girls from Chibok, an attack which is just one part of a vast campaign targeting Christians and anyone who does not want to live under a theocratically run system based upon sharia and 7th century interpretation of the Koran.

In addition to the insurgent-like threat of Boko Haram, we have also witnessed horrific hit and run terrorist tactics used by other African jihadists, as in the Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi by Al Shabaab. At the same time, China proceeds to build its vast network of economic interests in the continent in ways that far outstrip American geostrategic investment in Africa.

Australasia: Of course, the Pivot to Asia should have pleased our Antipodean allies. But the concrete consequences of the declarations and speeches by Secretary Clinton and the White House have amounted to little more than the deployment of a handful of US Marines from Camp Pendleton to Australia. Instead of the security situation improving, Australia faced its own Jihadist attack just before Christmas last year as a self-styled imam took hostages and brought the violent jihad so familiar to New York, London, Madrid, and Paris, to the streets of Sydney.

The Americas: Canada likewise became a direct victim of the Global Jihadist Movement after a spate of attacks against its armed forces and even its parliament which was only stopped when a brave sergeant-at-arms applied deadly force in the face of a rampaging jihadi.

Those who like illicit quality cigars may be celebrating the White House’s “normalization” of relations with Communist Cuba, but if statements by the Castro regime are to be credited as expressing Havana’s true intentions, then the deal was good for the dictatorship and bad for America. And despite the US government’s historic decision, conditions inside Cuba have remained the same, or in many case deteriorated, with last year seeing record-breaking numbers of political arrests on the island nation. And Cuba’s anti-democratic influence is a problem for the region, not just its wretched population, with Raul Castro’s secret police providing aid and expertise in the oppression of dissidents to the government of Venezuela.

The Middle East and North Africa: Leaving the worst for last we have, of course, the Middle East, and North Africa. The highs hopes for the Arab Spring turned very rapidly into a “Christian Winter” and a victory for the fundamentalist and anti-Democratic forces of the Muslim Brotherhood. One after another, one-man authoritarian regimes fell to Islamist MB governments, or collapsed into deadly civil wars which are still being fought in places like Syria and Libya. Throughout the region, proto-democrats and vulnerable minorities, especially ancient Christian communities, have been targeted for death or persecution, or have been forced to flee.

The one ray of hope, the people’s revolt in Egypt against the Brotherhood government of Mohammad Morsi, which led to his being ousted by a secular military, was rejected by the US administration as a coup, despite the fact that General, now President, Sisi, has been fighting his own war against Jihadi fundamentalists since he was the Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces.

And now Yemen, which was lauded just a few months ago by President Obama as the poster-child of his successful counterterrorism strategy, has collapsed under insurgent attacks and the resignation of the government in Sanaa.

Then there is Iran, which, much like Cuba, has squeezed concession after concession out of the administration without either stopping its acquisition of nuclear weapons capability, or curtailing its support of Shiite terrorist fighters in either Iraq or Syria.

I said I would leave Afghanistan and Iraq of our the equation, but nevertheless, it is important to recognize that this is a new jihadist threat that is even more dangerous than Al Qaeda. ISIS, the Islamic State, is today a full-fledged insurgency, one that in four dimensions is much more of a threat that Al Qaeda ever was.

The Islamic State is more than a terrorist group, it now functions as a quasi-state and controls territory equivalent to the size of the UK. It is the richest non-state threat group in human history. It has an incredibly sophisticated understanding of information warfare and how to use social media as a propaganda platform, and lastly – and relatedly – it has recruited ten of thousands of young Muslim men from around the world, including Europe and the US, to fight for the new Caliphate of Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. Bin Laden dreamt of being this powerful. The Islamic State has turned his dream into a horrific reality.

There is not one area of the world of import to America in which we have either not lost friends, or failed to help our allies to defend themselves against the common enemies that threaten us all. Whatever your politics, or whomever you favor for the next Commander-in-Chief of the United States, one thing is certain: without resolute American leadership the world can become, and now is, a much more dangerous place.

By Lauri B. Regan

Last week, pro-Palestinian protestors disrupted a New York City Council meeting yelling slogans and brandishing a Palestinian flag. The demonstration was particularly offensive given that it occurred as council members were voting on a resolution commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

In an impassioned response, Councilman David Greenfield observed that every Middle East country — except Israel — is not democratic and persecutes people of other faiths, gays, women, and those with opinions inconsistent with those of their governments. He concluded, “What you saw here today was naked, blind anti-Semitism.”

Greenfield’s point is critical. Those who attack and demonize Israel for its imperfections in the face of the atrocities committed by its Arab neighbors are not just hypocrites. There is only one explanation for their irrational condemnations: hatred of Jews. And there is no difference between protests by pro-Palestinians and protests that regularly emanate from the White House.

Incomprehensibly, while Israel is unquestionably our most strategic ally in the region, the administration is taking great strides to fundamentally transform the Middle East. By aligning itself with Iran in its undeclared war against Sunni jihadists, Obama has distanced America from traditional allies such as Israel and Saudi Arabia. Obama is empowering Iran under the auspices of shared interests and green lighting its development of military infrastructure on Israel’s borders — through which threats and attacks have already begun.

If Obama were only injecting a bit of daylight into our relationship with Israel, perhaps the worrisome situation would not be so dire. Unfortunately, he has sought to remove the U.S. from the Mideast, resulting in a formerly stable region devolving into chaos and violence with the vacuum filled by Iran and jihadists. He has ostracized, admonished, bullied, and isolated Israel in unprecedented fashion, dangerously galvanizing her enemies. And it is difficult not to look at the administration’s policies and conclude that “good old-fashioned anti-Semitism” motivates its actions.

How else to explain why Obama consistently lambasts Netanyahu for disagreeing with him, issuing building permits for construction on Israeli land, and acting to ensure the survival of the country the prime minister was elected to protect? How else to explain the name-calling and abuse bestowed upon an ally for whom Obama only exhibits disdain? How else can one explain Obama’s passivity and disregard for the actions of the leaders of Mideast countries with abysmal records of human rights abuses, government sanctioned torture and murder, and who are leading sponsors of international terrorism?

When Biden was in Israel and housing permits were announced, the uproar from the White House was disproportionately obnoxious. Yet when Obama was in Saudi Arabia this week and three people were beheaded, he said nothing. In fact, his laissez faire attitude about Saudi human rights abuses is on full display in his recent interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria

How does one explain the White House’s outrage at Netanyahu every time he attempts to work with the U.S. to stop Iran from going nuclear? And yet, just as Obama agrees to another extension of the negotiations with Iran and the mullahs announce the construction of two new nuclear reactors and a law permitting an increase in uranium enrichment, a true “spat in the face” to Obama, all we hear is radio silence from the administration? (Actually, the administration admitted it was aware of Iran’s nuclear endeavors but is opting to ignore those in its quixotic pursuit of any agreement that it can label an historic achievement.)

How does one explain Obama’s description of Abbas, Rouhani, and the Muslim Brotherhood as moderates while his administration’s choice of words for Netanyahu include chickensh*t, coward, recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and aspergery?

The administration is now apoplectic over Netanyahu accepting Speaker Boehner’s invitation to speak before Congress. It is lobbing a myriad of threats including that Kerry’s interest in defending Israel will diminish and that there will be “a price to pay” because this is something “you simply don’t do.” What you actually don’t do is send a delegation to a foreign country and finance an opposition group to help oust a sitting Prime Minister. And yet this is exactly what the Obama administration is doing in Israel.

Why would Obama become so integrally involved in Israel’s elections? It is not because Obama despises Netanyahu (which he does). It is because Obama is hoping that a weak leader will replace Netanyahu and remain quiet while Obama allows Iran to go nuclear. But any Israeli Prime Minister who does not capitulate to Obama’s demands will be the subject of his vitriol and abuse.

What motivates Obama is not our national security but his own self-interest in avoiding war at all costs. He pulled our troops out of Iraq prematurely and Iran filled the vacuum. He surrendered on his red lines with Syria and now a quarter of a million are dead and ISIS is flourishing. He refused to militarily intervene in Libya (aside from briefly leading from behind) and we have four dead Americas and a county in chaos. He promised that Yemen was a success and we just evacuated our embassy as the Houthi terrorists took over.

Obama accedes to every Iranian demand in a desperate attempt to thwart a confrontation despite it leading to a nuclear-armed, nihilistic terrorist regime. And the people he attacks the most are not the dictators and terrorists but the Israelis who are on the front lines facing our enemies daily and American Jews, accused of dual loyalties and self-regard.

What motivates Netanyahu is protecting the Holy Land and ensuring that Jewish people survive the 21st century. Instead of understanding why Israel might be a bit concerned as it watches its borders break down, jihadists run rampant, and Iran play Obama like a cheap violin, the lame duck administration throws out threats historically saved for a nation’s enemies.

Every time Netanyahu disagrees with Obama, someone from the administration attempts to intimidate and silence him. From Kerry’s warnings that the BDSers will find success or that Israel will become further isolated to the latest grotesque threat that there will be a price to pay for Netanyahu’s speech before Congress, there is only one explanation for this ugliness. The administration’s blatant anti-Zionist policies are a direct result of its anti-Semitic ideology. As Dr Phyllis Chesler, author of The New Anti-Semitism, recognized years ago, “anti-Zionism [is], indeed, a core part of the ‘new’ anti-Semitism.”

The hypocrisy and hollowness of Obama’s words on Holocaust Remembrance Day promising “never again” are offensive. But we have come to expect empty rhetoric from the Liar-in-Chief — Iran is no exception. While Netanyahu struggles to ensure that the mullahcracy that has consistently promised to annihilate the Jewish homeland does not obtain nuclear capability, Obama bashes and threatens him in typical Chicago-style. As Netanyahu understands the veracity of Iran’s latest promise to hit Israel with “devastating thunderbolts” to cause “the collapse of the Zionist regime,” Obama adds fuel to the fire with his own threats of Israel’s price to pay. And Iran’s threats to “the Zionist regime” were communicated to Israel through U.S officials! No word yet on Obama promising Iran there would be a price to pay for threatening an ally.

The State Department met this week with Muslim Brotherhood leaders to discuss efforts to oust the current Egyptian government, which has been friendly to Israel and the West. This is abominable. As Iran sets up shop on Israel’s Syrian and Lebanese borders, Obama throws the Shiite terrorists another bone to help them retake control of Egypt on Israel’s southern border. The optics of this, coupled with Obama ceding Syria, Iraq and Yemen to Iran, do not look good.

After Israel struck a convoy of senior Iranian and Hezb’allah commanders in the Golan Heights last week, Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Tony Badran explained:

To understand Israeli behavior, we must take into account three key factors: Iranian influence in the Levant is expanding rapidly, it is doing so with American consent; and, moreover, no one in the Middle East actually believes that the Obama administration will stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. With the real prospect of a nuclear Iran on the horizon, no Israeli government can afford to have the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) set up base in the Golan. Ultimately, this was the point Israel wanted to make — not just to Tehran, but to Washington as well.

This is complicated military gamesmanship and Obama knows exactly what he is doing. Destroying Israel in the process is a price he is willing to pay in order to achieve his goals. The U.S. is now working with Iran — either passively or actively, directly or through its proxies, but certainly behind Israel’s (and the American peoples’) back. And Iran’s influence is expanding.

The U.S./Israel alliance, once based on mutual respect, values, and interests, is devolving into a bitter divide. Iran and Obama, on the other hand, are now aligned through mutual threats to Israel, mutual efforts to build an Iranian hegemon in the region, and imminent mutual nuclear capabilities.

America has historically been Israel’s one reliable partner that she could turn to for international support and protection. No longer. We now have a president taking affirmative and aggressive steps that are harming her ability to survive in an ever-threatening neighborhood. In embracing the world’s largest sponsor of international terrorism, Obama has disavowed any responsibility to prevent another Holocaust.

In 1980, Iran prevented an American military incursion by releasing the hostages the day that Carter left office. Ironically, they may successfully do so again the day that Obama leaves the White House. It will not be out of fear of his successor this time but rather because Iran will announce that it has obtained nuclear arms. And the Anti-Semite in chief, who embraced Wright, Khalidi, Ayers, Sharpton, Erdogan, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Mullahs, will be fully responsible for hammering the nails into Israel’s coffin.

By James Lewis

We don’t want war; but war has been declared on us.

That is the dilemma of the political elites, and their string of puppets in the media.

Obama is the dance-away politician. He has always danced away from the consequences of his actions. But this time he can’t. The French, by facing the truth of the Charlie Hebdo massacre, are actually more honest and courageous in facing reality. America is lagging.

The reality that everybody secretly knows is that the Iranians have been chanting “Death to Israel! Death to America!” every single day since 1979, when Jimmy Carter allowed Ayatollah Khomeini to take over Iran, to throw out our ally the Shah, and to grow into a war-making aggressor against all its theological enemies, including the Saudis. Now Obama has allowed Iran to take over the Iraqi regime in Baghdad along with Yemen, and Syria, creating a strategic pincer that points to Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. Iran’s theologian rulers are aiming for Mecca and Medina, the holy cities of Islam, which will give them control over the entire Muslim world. But they will have to fight the 80% majority Sunnis to get the holy cities.

This is what the Saudis are facing, and this is why the succession struggle for the head of state in Saudi Arabia has implications for the entire Arab and Muslim world, and therefore the rest of the world also. Iran is on the verge of nuclear weapons and Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). Obama is pretending it aint’ so, so he can sign his totally phony “peace agreement” with the mullahs. But Israel’s Netanyahu won’t sign on to a treaty that will give the genocidal cult of Iran all the power in the world. That is why Obama hates Netanyahu, and wants to destroy him. Obama is therefore making exactly the same move made by the appeasers of Hitler and Stalin in Europe. He is gambling on a losing game of appeasement, but nobody, certainly not the Arabs, believes a word. They know who the totalitarian aggressor is, and they know he has to be defeated decisively. Meanwhile Obama, who is the most mentally rigid politician outside of Moscow, is publicly raging and ranting — not at the mullahs, who are the plain and obvious aggressor, but at the scapegoat.

Jesus was a scapegoat for the fearful collaborators with the Romans in Israel at the beginning of the Common Era. The Jews were scapegoats for every tyrant since that time, except where Christians were the scapegoats for Romans, Vikings, Muslim invaders, and all the aggressive forces from that time to the Nazis and Communists. Scapegoats are needed when a politician needs to deny responsibility and blame the nearest victim who cannot escape. Scapegoating is the mark of mob politics.

In 1200 CE the first wave of Muslim invaders conquered India, and immediately started to wipe out all the Buddhist monasteries, which were vulnerable because the monks were pacifists who often did not defend themselves. Buddhism, a pacifist creed, was soon destroyed in its land of origin, and it has never come back in full flower. It is now practiced in China, Japan, and South East India. But not in most of India, where Vedanta philosophy flowered instead. Multiple Muslim invasions killed off Buddhism, because Vedanta, as a family and community creed, was able to withstand the multiple massacres imposed by wave after wave of Muslim jihadists. The last Indian-Muslim war was the Partition of India in 1948, which killed three million people, and led to the split between Muslim Pakistan and majority-Hindu India. Since then Pakistan keeps up a terrorist war against India, but it has not been able to mount a full-scale Muslim invasion of India. India has a thousand years of resistance against wave after wave of jihad invasion, and every citizen of India knows in his or her bones that peace is good, but survival is better, if you must choose. Hinduism is not as aggressive as jihadist Islam. Neither is Buddhism. But over the centuries they have learned to defend themselves.

But not the West. Our superficial and self-deluded political elites pretend that jihadi Islam is peaceful, just like early Buddhists did before all the monasteries were destroyed. Muslim forces have bought up our political and media class, which is why they keep lying to us about a clear and present danger.

So Obama is blaming the victim, along with his Eurosocialist buddies in Europe. If only Israel would surrender to the phony “Palestinians” everything will be okay. For Hitler it was Czechoslovakia that had to be his to prevent war, and once he swallowed the Sudetenland he would never, ever, be nasty again. Then it was Poland. Then it was all of Europe, and ultimately it would have been America, because the Nazis had a world-conquering ideology. So did Stalin.

At some point the lies became clear to every sentient person in the West, and reluctantly, very slowly and reluctantly, Western politicians and media types began to see how trapped they were. It was surrender or fight. No other choice.

Today, after the Charlie Hebdo massacre showed the French and other Europeans that this was a stand-or-die moment, the French people poured into the streets to show how well they got it. Forty political leaders jumped on the bandwagon, because their jobs were on the line. But Obama remained aloof, thinking that he could still dance away from the choice. Obama has long proclaimed delusional lies as the truth, and maybe he really believes he can still get away with it. But Canada, Australia, and Britain don’t think so. The French don’t think so. Most normal Europeans don’t think so. And Obama will be out of power soon.

This is the Phony War, the time of indecision and of desperate efforts to fake a solution to a dwindling chance of true peace. The only people who are bound and determined to have their way are the Jihadists, the Iranian mullahs on the Shi’ite side, and the ISIS fanatics on the Sunni side. Everybody else is trying to dodge the problem, hoping against hope. Obama may not believe he can walk on the water and create a peace agreement between all the players: Not just Israel and the Pals (a totally phony scapegoating conflict), but between Iran and Sunni tribes in Iraq and Syria, who support ISIS, between the Saudis who are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, backed by Egypt and Pakistan. The jihadist aggressors are gambling that audacity and mass murder will win. Overall, Obama has been backing them whenever possible, including Al Qaeda in Libya, the Taliban in Afghanistan, and (through Turkey) even ISIS. Obama keeps thinking he can clever his way out of this trap, but he’s dealing with Persian and Arab rug sellers who have seen this game for a thousand years. They can tell a coward when they see him.

In the upshot, Obama does not want the china shop to fall apart before he leaves office. Like Bill Clinton, he cares less about the fate of the country and the world than he does about himself. Clinton dodged four chances to get Bin Laden, and when he left office the Twin Towers were bombed, right at the start of the Bush Administration. So George W. was stuck with the problem, and Clinton danced away from of blame (at least as far as his own media buds were concerned). That is Obama’s goal, too. He wants to be able to blame the next president for the messes he made, and which he allowed to go out of control, during his eight years. Obama is therefore trying to pin the blame on Netanyahu, who wants to save his country from nuclear genocide. This is a disgusting, cynical, mean-spirited game.

In the last few days Obama left his own trip to India, skipping the Taj Mahal, to fly to Riyadh and lobby the new leadership — the new king is believed to suffer from dementia, and he had to talk to younger politicians, including probably Bandar El Sultan, who is jockeying for power along with the rest. The Saudis’ top pols were complicit in the Al Qaeda attack on this country in 9/11/01, and excused themselves to the Americans by saying their shaky failed state would not survive if the real fanatics, the Wahhabi theocrats, took over. We had a choice between supporting the Saudi villains to keep even worse characters from taking over. Both Bush and Obama went along, because OPEC controlled the international price of oil and could destroy our economy. It was a bargain with the devil.

When 90-year-old King Abdullah died Obama went on an emergency trip to Saudi, to figure out how he could keep Saudi Arabia’s Rube Goldberg contraption going long enough to finish his term in office. More than anything else Obama wants that Jimmy Carter photo op with the Israelis on one side, the Pals on the other, and the New York Times piously proclaiming Peace in our Time. The Obama goes home and allows the whole fake tower of cards to crumble, no matter who gets hurt. He has saved his reputation, at least among his True Believers (who will believe anything he says). Now he can blame whoever comes next. The Democrats and their fake media will scream and yell long enough until everybody believes the next president is a warmongering Republican. That’s how Clinton got away with it, and that’s how Obama wants to do it.

I don’t think the Saudis believed a word of it. Nobody in the know believes Obama any more. The Saudis are furious at him for allowing their worst enemies, the infidel Shi’ites of Iran, to build nukes and missiles. They live right in Iran’s bull’s eye. They are getting ready for the worst by bringing in Egyptian and Pakistani troops to man their borders (they don’t have a big enough population or military themselves), and to keep the option of buying off-the-shelf nukes from Pakistan. They just built a 600-mile military barrier to keep ISIS out. They are outraged at Obama for empowering their most deadly enemies, and some, like Prince Bandar, have already built mansions in the West. (Bandar’s exile mansion overlooks Aspen, CO).

Obama wanted America to withdraw from the world, and our political elites went along. Conservatives have understood very well that China, Russia, Iran, and other aggressors would instantly fill the vacuums created by American retreat. That is exactly what happened. Everywhere in the world, our closest allies are in big, big trouble, and they are rearming as quickly as they can.

In the Muslim world the thousand-year-old split between Sunnis and Shi’ites is devolving into war. In Iraq, the Baghdad regime is controlled by Iran, the new Persian caliphate. In Turkey, Sunni radicals led by Recip Erdogan are trying to re-create the Ottoman Empire — including the old uniforms with the pointy helmets. In Lebanon Iran’s proxy terror group Hizb’allah is in control, and sending troops to support Syria’s Assad, who is a sort of Shi’ite. Egypt has managed to throw out Obama’s favorite Muslim Brotherhood puppet, and El Sisi sounds like the sanest voice in the Muslim Middle East. But he, too, is fighting a revolt by radical Islamofascists.

What a mess. Six years ago there was still a precarious balance in the Middle East, based in good part on Egypt, the “pillar of peace.” Today, Egypt’s Mubarak has been purged, but another military man, El Sisi has taken over. So the pillar survives, so far.

As for the rest, almost every single Muslim regime in the ME is gone or in trouble. Iran’s proxy just overthrew our guy in Yemen. Libya is at war, entirely due to Obama’s brainstorm of overthrowing Gadaffi and using his armaments to support the rebels in Syria.

This is how community agitators work. They don’t “organize” communities. They agitate to disorganize them, so they can pick up the pieces when things fall apart. Most of the world understands Obama by now, and they are afraid. But Americans can’t believe that our own president would be so utterly destructive. Ordinary Democrats think the chaos in the Middle East is just bad luck. But it’s not. It’s all part of Obama’s Grand Design, a narcissistic overreach so bizarre and improbable that it was bound to fail.

This is how Marxists always end up: grand ambitions ending in an enormous mess.

(Venezuela today is finally understanding that, and even the Washington Post has belatedly told them to give up on a centralized command economy).

The next president will have a lot of apologizing to do — for Obama, not for the United States. But more important, the next administration will try to save what can be saved from the six decades of Pax Americana, when our allies could trust our word. Obama has killed off the most important single ingredient in any defensive alliance, real trust that the alliance would hold under pressure.

Nobody trusts us anymore, and there is no reason they should. We were the lynchpin of world security for six decades, but once trust it lost, it may never be restored.

Isn’t it great to have our first black president? Now the Democrats will try to repeat that trick, and foist on us a president merely because she is female. Or merely because s/he is LGBT. Or merely because… et. bs cetera.

With Obama our voters got suckered but good. The same thing happened with Bill Clinton and the Arkansas twins. Jimmy Carter, in retrospect, sold out to Muslim influence peddlers way back in 1979, when the Ayatollah took over our U.S. embassy and all its diplomats, and Jimmy did next to nothing. That was the first proof to the Muslim world that the United States was the weak horse, and they have been trading on that ever since. Even today, Carter and his foreign policy gurus still claim they were right to let the radical Islamists take over in Iran. That is why the mullahs show such utter contempt for this administration. Obama is a round-heeled pushover, like Jimmy Carter, and they are beating us hollow.

Today immense amounts of money from Muslim sources are going to Democrats, and probably some Republicans as well. On the R side, we have to demand a clear accounting of who is paying for what. The Democrats are a lost cause.

In 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King had set the stage for the black community in America to mainstream and become part of the national society if they chose to unite in America. Many did and were better off for it. Many did not because they believed that America owed them something and that they should not have to work to achieve what others had. Instead they chose to demand it or take it by criminal action. They refused to face a truth Americans face every day, that we are the product of our own efforts and that we own our successes as well as our failures. But the greatest failure of all was turning their backs of the truth and reality. Now they want the world to accept responsibility for their own failure.

To be clear, no one alive in America today had anything to do with the slavery issue that has aggrieved the black militant community so much and made them feel entitled. Certainly black slavery was far from the worst example of treating our fellow human beings, and it should be noted that it was their own people and the Muslims who began their journey down that particular road. It has been the lies of the left that have inflamed the issue as part of the strategy to trap blacks on the liberal political plantation and assure their votes for a political class that has done nothing but used them without conscience and assured that their way of live is entrenched and inescapable. It is only by making sure that misery is perpetuated that enslavement is assured.

The Truth Will Set You Free

The truth about Ferguson MO does not fit the narrative the liberal left and the media have tried to push. Most people, including many blacks, know that what happened in Ferguson was the result of one inescapable fact. Michael Brown was a drug addled thug who robbed a store, roughed up the owner, and then assaulting a Police Officer with a clear intent to kill or at least do grave bodily injury. Michael Brown brought about his own demise and his parents who continue to protest that their son was a “gentle giant” is pure fiction and they are simply in denial about the fact that they created the monster that was their son.

The Truth Will Set You Free

When one looks at the militancy of people such as this man who has stood on street corners with a loud speaker demanding that white children be murdered in their cribs. The Police and Justice Departments will do nothing to curtail this behavior. What is the difference between this and yelling fire in a crowded theater? This combined with the racially charged invective of Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, Bill Di Blasio, and Barack Obama, can only lead to a young black man executing two Policemen as a political statement. This is pure insanity They call us cowards, but who is truly afraid to face the truth? They say we must relearn how to deal with the worst of the black culture while ignoring the need for that black culture to abide by the law.

During the 503 days between the death of Trayvon Martin and acquittal of George Zimmerman, 10,865 blacks were killed by other blacks. The main stream media refused to cover the story and it is doubtful if the reader can name a single one of those victims as a result. Who are the cowards?

The Truth Will Set You Free

What the out of control liberal entitled wing of black community apparently is not smart enough to understand is the concept of the “Polish Hostage.” A ethnically charged description of a criminal who puts a gun to their own head and demands concessions or they will shoot their hostage. They are only destroying themselves and their own people through crime, abortion, poverty, and drugs, yet they make no effort to correct what is clearly self destructive behavior in favor of becoming part of the mainstream. Instead they are trying to blame everyone else and refuse to accept responsibility for the very actions and behaviors that are at the root of all their troubles. Whitey is not the reason for their misery, neither are the Police. It is they themselves who are the drivers of the vehicle of their own destruction and their fate as a race is assured unless they change. Hanlon’s Razor states: “One should never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

The Truth Will Set You Free

Those who are the loudest voices are the provocateurs who profit from the misery of their own people. Bill Di Blasio is married to a black woman but one cannot help but wonder at his motivations and true reasoning when his primary cause is alienating the NY Police and drive NY back to where it was before Mayor Giuliani took the reins. The hucksters have the attention of the militants and the militants are just too stupid to figure out they are destroying themselves on the political altar of the left to their own detriment. The problem blacks face more than any other is their own failure to grow up, accept reality, and become a part of the solution instead of amplifying the problem. Until and unless the black community comes to grips with its own failures and face the truth of their own culpability in their difficulties, their lot in life will never improve but only continue the downward slide. Indeed, the truth will set you free.

Obama’s America http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/2014/12/22/obamas-america/ Mon, 22 Dec 2014 18:41:54 +0000 http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/?p=941 Continue reading ]]> Obama's America

When Barack Hussein Obama was elected in the 2008 election I fervently believed that Americans had just demonstrated a serious example of bad judgment and enacted an example of the Peter Principle in epic proportion that would be a disaster for America. They elected a man of absolutely no experience, never met a pay check, who had done everything within his power to conceal his past from the public. Although I believed that many voted for him because he was black, I was convinced that it was a clear indication that at least half of America was as stupid as a bag of hammers.

In his first term in office his only real accomplishment was the passage of Obamacare. A disaster on wheels, it has destroyed the healthcare system, inculcated an immense new bureaucracy, and forced Americans into lousy insurance they can’t afford or use because of skyrocketing premiums and sky high deductibles. Everything else he has done has been detrimental to America on so many levels, and divided Americans racially, politically, and economically. Under the leadership of Barack Obama America has gone backwards losing clout, wealth, and respect across the world. The American dream has been replaced by an Obamian nightmare. A perfect image of the accomplishments of Barack Hussein Obama on his meteoric rise to be President.

In 2012 Barack Obama engaged in a campaign of lies to cover up a cascade of endless and worsening scandals. Americans were dying as a result of gun walk schemes, under secured diplomatic missions, deliberately mischaracterized terror attacks to cover up their severity, and a campaign of misinformation designed to deceive the American about the truth of American policy falling apart. The media were the propaganda arm of the White House, led by a liberal Svengali who abused them with tirades of expletives if they didn’t tow his line. One channel told the truth and were demonized on a daily basis by the president and his Lemmings. At the end of the day when he was re-elected it became clear to me that the majority of the American people, perhaps as many as 75%, were just too stupid to live. Examples piled up of the damage that was being done, but no one was learning anything. No one was doing anything. Precious few were even addressing the decline of America as a country, as a people, and as a force in the world for good. America was content to languish at the back of the pack behind nations that had no impact whatsoever in the world and it didn’t seem to matter to them one bit.

The evidence of what has happened to America since Barack Obama became President has been little short of devastating. Countries that were careful not to make too big a noise in their activities in the world are now emboldened and threatening to attack government and the country at large with impunity. In the Middle East countries are seeing weakness and appeasement in Obama policy, laughing at his threats as jokes. North Korea hacked a major American company, threatened the privacy of millions if their demands aren’t met, and when the FBI named them as the culprits they threatened to attack Washington if they weren’t allowed to participate in the investigation of the crime they committed. Barack Obama can only call a means of attacking our infrastructure an act of “Cyber Vandalism.” Really? This fool of a President that no one takes seriously has shown his true colors again; a man talks tough, but is an indecisive  coward who has no credibility.

The bottom line is that this is a self inflicted wound that happened because the American people are just as dumb as a bag of hair. More than half the country is one the dole, one third has simply quit looking for work, and most people just don’t have the knowledge that would have been required to be a good stock boy 50 years ago. Americans will believe anything the media says. They have become a country of Do-Do Birds creating the vehicle of their own extinction. Or maybe we can describe them as Lemmings who simply follow the one in front of them right off the edge of the cliff. Social media is their world and talking is their only milieu. The truth is if you read their posts you’ll find most people don’t know the difference in using “their”, “there,” or “to”, “too”, and “two.” Literary skills are in the toilet because people are functionally illiterate. Most haven’t read a real book in years. When you think about common core and talk about it making your head explode, it’s really because people are too stupid to understand what we once called the three R’s. People don’t read, they can’t write, and they are just all gone to hell when it comes to math. You see, America elected Obama the first time to prove they weren’t a racist, but now electing him the second time they proved that they were just stupid.

Life is harder, more dangerous, the government can’t slap its collective ass with both hands if their pants were on fire. In just six years the country has gone to hell and there are still two more to go. Well, it’s here now and it won’t improve until people wise up and take control of their lives again. Some of us have figured it out and taken steps to make sure that our kids are intellectually superior and have a greater wealth of knowledge and experience. But Americfa chose Barack Obama and made America the most chicken shit, useless, and unreliable country in the world founded under what Bono described as the greatest idea in the history of the world. Once great reduced to the sorriest state of pathetic, and what’s worse, too stupid to understand it. This is Obama’s America.

Michael Eric Dyson, Melissa Harris-Perry, Eugene Robinson, Toure, Tavis Smiley, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, Barack Obama, and many of those who act as race baiters, promote the victimization mentality contributing most to the failure of black culture to recognize the that limitations they create for themselves have said; “Racism is still the most intractable issue in this country, it’s a part of everything we do still.”  “It is open season on black men, and it is in many ways as bad as it was fifty years ago.” Fifty two years after Dr. Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, what holds black back more than anything is blacks themselves.

This meme reflects the way the Black victim political ideology works to maintain their financial gains as those who lead this victimhood movement preserve their voting block for liberal left. These “prominent” black leaders keep repeating that police officers have a negative view of black males which they attribute to racism, and that they place less value on black males lives. What they conveniently fail to recognize or discuss is that crime statistics tend to show that perceptions held of blacks as a threat are indeed reasonable and even justified.

There is no evidence that supports that claim that police officers view black males differently from others, but there is historical precedent which begs the need for caution, and reflects behavioral tendencies more than race. People view us by the way we present ourselves.  If we respect ourselves in the way we dress, speak, and act, people will show us respect. We create our own destiny in this regard and are ourselves responsible for how we are perceived. Failure to show respect for ones self or for the law will always create suspicion and raise ones hackles.

The descriptions of Michael Brown in his altercation with Officer Wilson are reflections of the presentation that Mr. Brown made and upon which the Officer was forced to judge him. Reflecting on the video of Mr. Brown committing his strong arm robbery and his treatment of a man half his size tends reflects exactly the kind of behavior the Officer described. Mr. Brown’s himself created the way the Officer perceived him and was the central contributing factor to his own death. The Officer reacted as the situation dictated he had to. One can ask where Mr. Brown developed those thuggish behaviors and attitudes, but watching and listening to his parents after his death and since, speak volumes to the kind of man he was, and there was nothing gentle or redeeming about him.

The thread that strings Ferguson, Staten Island, Trayvon Martin and any other alleged race based victimization episodes has nothing to do with racism or the police. Most of it can be laid at the feet of liberals and their ideology. It is clear that liberal policies have destroyed the basic family unit and made dependence on government the drug of choice for many black families. Liberals have trapped blacks in a culture that only knows dependency, gangs, drugs, and free money for having babies out of wedlock. Consider the rate of abortions among blacks and it is possible to speculate that their population share could be 25-30% instead of a meager 13%. Abortion has become the genocide of choice against the black community and liberals have convinced the black people themselves to be the architect of that genocide. This is the dictum of liberalism, kill your babies in the womb so you can be free to have more babies. Why should they work when they are entitled to welfare? Want to increase your income? Have a baby.

Blacks are drawn to political ideologies that breed victimization and insist that success in other minority communities is impossible for them. They convince themselves that “the system ” is against them and they have no chance for success. Any attempt to discuss it is met with excuses of racism. Blacks have entitlements to fall back on including affirmative action, federal financial aid, and scholarships that award them just for being a minority.

Blacks cynically are racist toward Jews as well, claiming “More Blacks have died at the hands of slavery than Jews in the holocaust”, “Whites don’t accept Blacks like they do Jews. Jews are not real minorities”, “Jews came to America with an unfair advantage. They never had to deal with racism”. Yet, nothing is preventing them from making money in sensible and legal ways other than their own culture of victimization.

The victimization lobby blames the system instead of taking responsibility for their personal failures.  But one has to look at those who profit most from Black victim political ideology to account for the community’s lack of success and identity after 400 plus years in America. It is easier to be a dependent people than to shoulder the work and discipline to define one’s purpose and earn a living. “Excuses are tools of the incompetent and those who use them are seldom good for anything.”

For all that can be shown that reflects negatively for blacks, there are positives that stand head and shoulders above this victimization culture who have made success a worthy end to a means. There are entrepreneurs, doctors, politicians, judges, and a host of others who have succeeded in their vocations, many of who started out the same way as most inner city blacks. Most of them had good family values and guidance and were taught the benefits of hard work. They worked hard and succeeded and are leaders in the community. So the idea of the racial victimization ideology stands in stark contrast as a philosophy of failure that is adopted by those who are willing to be failures and a drain on society.

Why do cops perceive most blacks with a wary eye and suspicion so often. Well maybe one part is because as 13% f the population they are responsible for over 55% of the violent crime and 93% of blacks who are murdered, are murdered by other blacks. Maybe a 72% out of wedlock birth rate and fatherless households is a contributing factor. Whatever your point of view, doing the job that they have chosen, the Police are reflecting a survival instinct that requires caution on approach because history is full of disasters for those who didn’t.

Blacks Have Declared War On Our Own People http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/2014/12/08/blacks-declared-war-people/ Mon, 08 Dec 2014 12:23:39 +0000 http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/?p=932 Continue reading ]]> Blacks Declare War

Nov 30, 2014……….By Raynard Jackson

In Proverbs 4:7, Solomon says: “Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get understanding.”

This simple scripture seems to be ignored in all the media coverage and supposed analysis I have seen regarding the Ferguson grand jury’s decision not to indict police Darren Wilson for fatally shooting Michael Brown, Jr.

I am a native of St. Louis and have spent lots of time in Ferguson throughout my life. Even before Brown’s death, Ferguson was a bomb waiting to explode. All these pathologies didn’t happen overnight.

St. Louis County (which includes Ferguson) has a Black unemployment rate of 17.8% while the White unemployment rate is only 5.7%. Ferguson and St. Louis County has been ruled by Democrats for well over 30 years. Ferguson didn’t just happen, it has been waiting to happen and Democrats didn’t give a damn.

Let’s be honest about this situation: Michael Brown was no angel and had he not stolen those cigars, we would not be having this conversation. But liberals like Al Sharpton, Michael Dyson, and the membership of the Congressional Black Caucus refuse to acknowledge this fact.

Everything cannot simply be blamed on racism and White folks. What have we, in the Black community, done that society as a whole has so little value for a Black person’s life?

I do believe that war has been declared on Blacks, especially Black males; but who has made the declaration of war? I would argue that Blacks have declared war on their own people. White folks haven’t, nor racists, or the KKK.

Before going to war, the first thing that is needed is to create a psychological operations campaign (i.e. psy-ops). This is a tactic that the military uses to marginalize its targeted population so that when the troops are sent in to destroy this group, there is no public outcry.

Just look at how the U.S. military vilified and demonized former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and terrorist Osama Bin Laden before we set out to kill them. Upon their deaths at the hands of the U.S. military, the American people cheered because we had devalued and marginalized them before the American people. I can’t help but ask the Black community, have we unleashed a psy-ops campaign on our own people?

We have created our own Frankenstein monster. This new Hip-Hop generation has experimented in the laboratory called a recording studio; and by exercising their First Amendment Right of freedom of speech and expression through music, they have lost control of the very monster to which they gave birth.

In the beginning, like with Frankenstein, people marveled at this new creation and people were willing to pay to see and hear it. There was “Rappers Delight,” there was “The Message,” and there was “Fight the Power.” Then, the imagery and lyrics took a twisted turn under a perverted interpretation of the First Amendment called “keeping it real.”

Now, the establishment, especially the police, had become the enemy. Hip-Hop became a counter-culture movement that turned into a monster that could no longer be controlled. Women became “bitches and hoes,” men became hyper-sexualized thugs who were only out to force themselves on your daughters and to “get rich or die trying.”

When rap music started, it was a verbal extension of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s in the spirit of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; it was about the uplifting of our community and providing a voice to those often without a voice.

Then in the 1990s, rap took a more militaristic tone with the creation of “gangsta rap.” This too, was a verbal extension of the Civil Rights movement; but more in the spirit of Malcolm X on steroids. These artists represented those in the “hood” who felt trapped and abused by the system. They felt like no one cared about them and that life was about the here and now – immediate gratification; so screw the future. They wanted to “get theirs now.” They wanted to live fast, even if it meant dying young.

This ultimately led to the “thug” culture, personified by hit movies like Scarface, New Jack City and Carlito’s Way; each glorified the criminal lifestyle.

Then you had the crack epidemic of the 1990s with the violence that it brought into the hood. All these factors combined to create a narrative that Black life was worthless and Black youth brought no value to society.

If it’s okay for Blacks to devalue the lives of our own people, how can we demand that Whites value us? White folks don’t need to do anything for Ferguson. They have all the power they need. The issue is will they exercise it?

Racism and the Legacy of the Left http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/2014/11/26/racism-legacy-left/ Wed, 26 Nov 2014 14:41:20 +0000 http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/?p=923 Continue reading ]]> Racism The liberal left and the liberal media have been complicit in creating a victims class of Americans as part of their agenda, particularly blacks, and encouraging social uprisings for a long time.  Sadly innocent lives are destroyed, people hurt, and lives have been lost. They don’t care because it empowers them, and it will continue until we stand up and stop them.

In their remarkable arrogance they assume most voters are clueless idiots. Obama and his liberal minions look us in the eye and flat-out lie; Not just simple lies, but huge whoppers, without even blinking.  They ignore the video archives. They know that they can count on the liberal media to cover their derrières, to carry their water, and be complicit in their efforts to deceive and divide the American people.

One thing you can count on.  Whatever Obama and his minions say they seek to achieve, their hidden agenda is the polar opposite. When Republican Congressman Paul Ryan proposed a plan to save Medicare, Democrat minions produced a deplorable ad to deceive voters and demonize Ryan, depicting him pushing a helpless, terrified gray-haired grandmother in a wheelchair over a cliff, plunging to her death.  Meanwhile, Obama cut Medicare by $718 billion.

In 1964, Democrat president Lyndon Johnson implemented government welfare programs promoted as his “war on poverty.”  Twenty-two trillion dollars later, complete with government playing Robin Hood by taking from the rich and redistributing to the poor, there has been no progress against poverty. But the Democrat dependency programs mixed with the lowering of moral and cultural standards have left the black family and community in shambles.  The mission was never about ending poverty, but rather about addicting blacks to government handouts to secure their votes forever.

The Democrats’ modus operandi is “deceive, divide, and distract.” Particularly enamored with the use of race as a cudgel to divide the people and increase the tension between the races, it is used to cement minority support for the democrat party. Until we as Americans exercise our power to politically stop them, Democrat deceivers will surely continue their insidious deceit.

Ferguson has brought into perspective the notion that black mob violence is a plague that has no limits and will destroy even its own environment. The reporters who by their inability to report objectively impel the anger into violence. By allowing their personal bias to be the basis of their reporting, they broadcast lies and half truths and distort the facts beyond recognition. Ferguson showed the nation that liberals in the media are still compelled by the same rationale from which they conceived the Klu Klux Klan into mob justice and a public lynching. We now see that it was never about the facts, but simply their overwhelming desire to blame a Police Officer for the bad behavior of a young black man.

For reporters, Mike Brown was a Gentle Giant who was cut down for no reason whatsoever. We should look first at the evidence in the case which clearly showed a young thug who robbed a store, assaulted the store owner when confronted, assaulted a Policeman, and tried to take his gun in order to use it on the Officer. But if we reflect on the behaviors and history the parents of Michael Brown we can see the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. When the verdict came down and the Grand Jury “no billed” the charges, they are the ones who called for people to “burn the bitch down.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IETZ7kgDuBg

A black reporter stated that because the district attorney of St. Louis took 25 minutes to explain the grand jury decision that was proof positive the cop should have gone to trial. And reason enough to riot. Mob violence is “understandable,” or so quoth Barack Obama.

CNN declared that black mob violence is no big deal because white people do it too. Just as often. Just as bad. So singling out Ferguson is racist. Unmentioned are the hundreds of cases of recent black mob violence around the country. Ferguson was not the only. Just the latest.

No one mentioned Louisville, and how last Spring 200 black people rampaged through downtown, beating grandparents in front of their grandkids, destroying property, stealing, looting, and creating mayhem.

PBS was kind enough to inform us that all of that black mob violence is the result of “white racism.”

And what of other places: Cincinnati, Virginia Beach, Fort Lauderdale, DeKalb, South Bend, Champaign, Peoria: Anyone heard of them?

How about the black bus driver who called 20 black people to beat and kick a white family on her bus. All while the black passengers cheered?

In Rochester, black people taunted, harassed, robbed, and attacked more than 1000 recent Asian immigrants. A social worker blacked it in Asian “naivete.”

Thanks to the policies and examples of the Barack Obama, Eric Holder, their lackeys in the democrat party and the main stream media, black hostility and racial resentment towards white and Asian people is now mainstream. It is easy to find on the web, the media, and it fuels this kind of mob violence.

Once again there is an unspoken hostility between blacks and the rest of society. Instinct tells people to fear and suspend trust; first instincts necessarily lead to an assumption of bad behavior first and the lack of a threat last. But the latter has to be shown at a distance. Even most blacks fear black groups because they know 93% of crime perpetrated against them is by members of their own culture. Black on black crime is the deadliest. So fear and caution have been moved race relations back 50 years before Dr. King. And it was never like this before Barack Obama and Eric Holder became the respective heads of their portion of government. It make take decades to recoup what has been lost.

Patient-Centered Medicine and the Struggle to Survive Obamacare http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/2014/11/20/patient-centered-medicine-struggle-survive-obamacare/ Thu, 20 Nov 2014 14:14:37 +0000 http://www.committeeforfirstprinciples.org/?p=921 Continue reading ]]> By Keith Jackson (November 19, 2014)

As we near some sort of attempt at compromise regarding the future of Obamacare, you will hear from health care workers that we need to bring the focus of medicine back on the patients.  The past few years, in which there has been a well-intentioned desire to control costs through bureaucratically oriented goals, the role of doctors and nurses has morphed away from patient care.  They have found that their role as “documenter of services rendered” through electronic medical records and coding for billing purposes has significantly taken away time spent with patients.

While it is important and necessary to provide accurate records of just what is wrong with patients being cared for at the doctor’s office and the hospital, there are problems with using the most highly trained, time-constrained, and expensive elements of the health care equation as transcribers and secretaries.  On top of that, the ultimate endpoint of the bureaucratic goals desired by the insurance industry and the government has an easily predictable result for doctors and hospitals.  That result might satisfy government overseers, but it is not an outcome health professionals, hospitals, and the communities that they serve desire.

Doctors and nurses have to comply with Continuing Medical Education (CME) standards in order to maintain staff privileges and licensure.  Throughout most of their careers, the primary topics of these hospital and community medical society presentations have revolved around the latest treatments in common and uncommon diseases, controversies, and the latest developments in health care.  Over the past few years, however, the most important and well-attended lectures regard medical coding, the means by which bills are justified and hospitals and doctors paid.  In the modern health care environment, proper coding is the difference between survival and bankruptcy.  But coding accurately is really very difficult, hence the need for enrolling doctors and nurses, and it is rarely ever done correctly.  And patients don’t often “fit” easily into a billing code that accurately reflects the work involved in their care.

While on its surface reasonable and defensible, the efforts expended on coding are in reality a bureaucratic attempt to normalize disease, outcomes, and costs.  With the use of coding, combined with the knowledge of the length of hospitalization and expenses involved, doctors and hospitals can be compared, and normative means testing can be used to get “outliers” back into line under the threat of financial penalty or restriction of business.

However, what everyone involved in the art of medicine knows, disease, and how it manifests in each individual, is rarely the same from one patient to another.  As an easy example, a middle ear infection in one child may clear up with no treatment, managed just by observation.  A middle ear infection in another child could progress to anything from a febrile seizure to sub-periosteal (under the skin behind the ear) abscess, and a prolonged hospitalization.  If coded in the slightest way inaccurately, the payment for that illness to the doctor and hospital could be obscenely inadequate to cover the costs involved with care.  How can this difference be quantified by a code?

Similarly, identical diseases may involve vastly different patients, without similar abilities to tolerate treatment and survive.  The same billing code for sinusitis in a healthy 15-year-old, an illness that can clear 85% of the time without treatment, is used when describing efforts to treat a resistant bacteria in an immune-compromised 15-year-old transplant patient.  Any attempt to align costs and care differences between these two patients is probably beyond the scope of any bureaucratic entity.

So, in an effort to survive financially as reimbursement decreases, focus is necessarily placed much more on checking “meaningful use” boxes on standardized computer models distributed to doctors and hospitals to help them comply with the recent guidelines put out there by the government and insurance companies.  Interestingly, the “selling point” of these computer models is that they can “capture more dollars” if only a few “rules of the game” are followed.  Costs per patient are going up as a result.  This was predictable.  While expense increases, time actually spent with the doctors and nurses is decreasing.

The other disconcerting, and also easily predictable, result of this bureaucratic mess is that it will sort out hospitals based on relative cost.  As anyone with any elementary skills at logic could foresee, this will result in hospitals turning away those who are very sick, trying to “dump” them on other hospitals.  Consequently, hospitals will expend significant effort trying to attract doctors who treat relatively well patients with illnesses that are easily treatable.  Those doctors who have very sick patients will settle into those default “dumping ground” hospitals.

Eventually, the financially viable hospitals will be in the areas in which healthier people live, and the dumping-ground hospitals will have to be subsidized by the government in order to survive.  Not only that, but doctors who choose to treat the sickest patients who are most at risk for complication will actually be penalized, because their costs are outside of the norm.

Obamacare, the “free” health care envisioned by the most naïve among us, is a massive bureaucracy, sold to us as a cost-cutting, fairer alternative.  The bill described 247 new departments to manage the process.  Hospitals and insurance companies have created departments to pry monies away from this colossus.  (These are dollars that could have been used to treat the sick.)  The only way that costs are in any way slowing is the added factor of high-deductible insurance scaring patients away from treatment in the first place.  And the ultimate result of this well-intentioned but predictably bad policy is that the rich will have the good hospitals, and the poor will not.  The rich and relatively healthy patients will have the happy doctors, and the poor and sick will not.

Health care professionals want to have time with their patients.  They dread the time spent checking boxes on a computer screen in order for a distant bureaucracy to tell them that their billing is outside the mean.  They rue the process that will inexorably swing toward certain hospitals surviving only because they turn away the very sick.  They want colleagues they can rely on to transfer their biggest problem patients, without having to worry that they will be the first to suffer financially and the first to ultimately “bail” on the system.  They can sense that, left the way it is, Obamacare is meant to “crash the system,” leaving them at the mercy of the federal government and with the vast majority of patients on Medicaid.

Becoming more patient-centered will be relatively easy.  Strip away a good bit of the size of the entity managing the dollars.  That way, more will be left for individual patient care.  Look into the silly restrictions on portability of policies, not competing across state lines, and allowing insurance pools.  Just don’t expand what is already “the Borg,” as it will surely lead to higher costs and less care from those with the most to offer.
