The Truth Will Set You Free

In 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King had set the stage for the black community in America to mainstream and become part of the national society if they chose to unite in America. Many did and were better off for it. Many did not because they believed that America owed them something and that they should not have to work to achieve what others had. Instead they chose to demand it or take it by criminal action. They refused to face a truth Americans face every day, that we are the product of our own efforts and that we own our successes as well as our failures. But the greatest failure of all was turning their backs of the truth and reality. Now they want the world to accept responsibility for their own failure. When Barack Hussein Obama was elected in the 2008 election I fervently believed that Americans had just demonstrated a serious example of bad judgment and enacted an example of the Peter Principle in epic proportion that would be a disaster for America. They elected a man of absolutely no experience, never met a pay check, who had done everything within his power to conceal his past from the public. Although I believed that many voted for him because he was black, I was convinced that it was a clear indication that at least half of America was as stupid as a bag of hammers. Michael Eric Dyson, Melissa Harris-Perry, Eugene Robinson, Toure, Tavis Smiley, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, Barack Obama, and many of those who act as race baiters, promote the victimization mentality contributing most to the failure of black culture to recognize the that limitations they create for themselves have said; “Racism is still the most intractable issue in this country, it’s a part of everything we do still.”  “It is open season on black men, and it is in many ways as bad as it was fifty years ago.” Fifty two years after Dr. Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, what holds black back more than anything is blacks themselves.
