Obama and the Stockholm Syndrome

In psychology , Stockholm Syndrome is an apparently paradoxical psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered to be irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness. Subtle Vigilance

In the current political environment, many citizens feel the need to be more attentive and vigilant to the behavior of their local law enforcement agencies and government practices. Worse yet is the indifference or apathy of most people who are oblivious to the doom that encompasses their future because they are so self absorbed and only relate to their own needs. We are allowing ourselves to be destroyed by an entitlement system that must collapse in upon itself from its ever increasing size. Continue reading “A Revolution Descending” »

Will 2012 Be A Turning Point?

Centuries ago a primitive people called the Mayans were able to develop the concept of “zero” and make Calendars that predicted the Solar cycles 2,000 years in the future. They created the most accurate Calendar to date, and said that great changes would happen on December 21, 2012. They didn’t say the world would come to an end as many have predicted, nor was it clear what was to come, but only that that date would usher in a new age that  would change us forever. Forty six days before that happens however, America will go to the polls to choose her new President. Given the lessons of the past, one thing is certainly clear. Unless there is a change in leadership no matter what the Mayans may have seen, America as we know it will certainly cease to exist. Continue reading “Will 2012 Be A Turning Point?” »
