Alinsky + Obama = Occupy; The Master Plan

Saul Alinsky wrote in his book that in order to affect great socialist change the poor and the middle class had to be united and then the two turned against corporate America. In the only actual job he had, Obama the academic taught Constitutional Law as interpreted by Alinsky. Before we go any further, let us take a moment to reflect on the dedication that Alinsky made in his book. “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.” This is the measure of the man who holds the highest office in the land. This alone prove him apostate, and no oath he has taken can be believed. Continue reading “Alinsky + Obama = Occupy; The Master Plan” »

The True Source of Our Problems

Day after day we look at the situation around us and feel a certain level of despair. Over the last three years a lot has happened to be unhappy with, but we must understand how we got there. As a nation we are beset by staggering debt, a crippled economy, persistent unemployment, and a great infringement on individual liberties to name a few. The most common finger pointing goes to big business and rich capitalists if you listen to “Occupy.” Some will say a dysfunctional Congress more concerned with staying in power than serving the people who elected them. Others say it’s the President whose constant campaign quest to retain his job has divided us by class or by race. The fact is all of these things are relevant to our condition but they are not the cause. Continue reading “The True Source of Our Problems” »

Hypocrisy from the Left

As the Super Committee winds down without having accomplished their goal, its important to make clear the fraud and malfeasance that has been at work on the left throughout the process. In their usual manner the left has put their own political interests ahead of the country and worked with deliberate failure as their plan. It has been about giving Barack Obama a stump speech line for his Presidential campaign which touts the failure of Congress to do anything, yet it has been the republicans who made offers including $300 billion in revenue enhancements while democrats have taken “no” to a new level of hypocrisy offering nothing in counter proposals. In this case republicans are being forced to negotiate against themselves while democrats deny the American people the good governance they have a right to. “Atlas Shrugged” and The US Today

“Atlas Shrugged” Part 1 is a message in a bottle; a reminder that there are lessons to be learned from history and conditions under which man simply can’t thrive. It reminds us that big mistakes are made when government seeks to control mans passions and dictate the ebb and flow of success and failure. It shows that government neither has the way to prosperity or the knowledge to guide men to it. Rather it shows it does best at stifling the “men of the mind”; the thinkers, industrialists, scientists, artists, and other innovators who have no reason to strive if their rewards are controlled by those who have no part in their creation. Voices That Destroy America!

Stop for a moment and think about the voices in the news and commentary shows that have a moral and ethical obligation to keep the public accurately informed of the news of the day. Consider how your daily life, your social and financial decisions are often depend on the information they provide for you. Do you feel safe in making decisions based on the information they give you in their daily broadcasts? Have you perhaps come to realize that they color the news and the information they give you based solely on their own political and financial interests.  Originally conceived as the fourth estate, designed to be the peoples watchdog on the government, the main stream media has become the propaganda arm of the liberal left and progressives movement. Not unlike Pravda in the old Soviet Union they only broadcast the information that supports their political interests while omitting facts and information that may not favor them. The main stream media once considered an ally of the people clearly has become an adversary to the people and a source of information that can neither be believed nor relied upon bu the American people. The people cannot trust the media at all. Continue reading “Voices That Destroy America!” »

The Great Cain Gingrich Debate

In the forum of ideas it is critical for a candidate to be able to discuss their ideas without the juvenile media games of gotcha journalism and talking down to your opponent. In a very congenial and informed forum Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich expressed their ideas and discussed issues which for the most part have been considered the third rail of American politics. In reality what was shown to the American electorate was a reasonable and informed ways to solve those problems without involving demagoguery and over the top hyperbole that try to characterize those who would be willing to act to save the entitlement side of our economy. The real winners last night were the American people who got an earful of realistic ideas to solve the problem. Continue reading “The Great Cain Gingrich Debate” »

The Cowardly Right

I was struck as I listened to the news today and read my usual web sites on how the unemployment rate had fallen from 9.1% to 9.0% for October. I thought to myself how amusing that was because I distinctly remembered that each week of that month the new jobless claims had been an average of 400,000 which comes to 1.73 million new claims for the month,  while only 80,000 new jobs had been created. I couldn’t help but wonder how you create less than 5% of the jobs you lost, and yet unemployment goes down. Continue reading “The Cowardly Right” »
